Scheme: Wrexham Floating Support Service
- Eligibility: Black and ethnic minorities with domestic abuse, housing, or destitution issues, including other forms of vulnerability.

Service description
A floating support service to Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic people who have experienced violence against women, domestic abuse and sexual violence (VAWDASV) and/or are moving on from National Asylum Support Service (NASS) accommodation and require support to settle and thrive in the wider community.
Where appropriate, the project may also offer support to people trapped in abusive situations or at risk of exploitation because they have no recourse (access) to public funds.

Scheme: Wrexham Refuge
- Eligibility: Women fleeing domestic violence, and their children.
- Scheme capacity: Wrexham Refuge – 5 units (with further spaces across Flintshire, Conwy and Denbighshire including male refuge space)
Service description
The refuge offers safe, temporary, accommodation for women and children.
Provides accommodation, advice, information, emotional and practical support for recovery after domestic abuse/health and wellbeing, long-term housing options, benefits, legal matters, and any other support needed whilst staying with DASU.
Scheme: Community Support Service

Service description
The community support service is available as a first point of contact for anyone needing support or advice around domestic abuse.
The service offers emotional and practical support, including some ‘target hardening’ items to help keep people safe in their homes. DASU will ask individuals a series of questions to assess the risk of ongoing harm and to gain further information to help put a package of support together. They can advise on what to do next and help keep people safe.
The Live Fear Free Helpline is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for anyone needing support about domestic violence (0808 80 10 800).

Service description
This floating support project provides housing-related support to vulnerable individuals, with or without children, in their own home. The aim is to enable people to maintain and sustain current tenancies and promote new financially sustainable accommodation.

Direct access domestic abuse refuge provision. Stori provides temporary supported housing for women and men of all ages and their children (if any) fleeing domestic violence, to help them to meet their needs and to enable them to develop the necessary independence to take control over their own lives.
