Service description
This floating support scheme aims to prevent vulnerable families from becoming homeless by promoting social inclusion and greater independence.
Support includes: help with budgeting and claiming benefits, applying for appropriate accommodation to meet family needs, training in life skills, safety and security of the home, repairs, neighbour disputes, liaison with relatives and professionals.
The scheme also works with families to set up maintainable routines around the home and apply for grants for household items. We also support families to access relevant resources in their own communities.
