This is one of six UK Shared Prosperity Key Funds available in Wrexham County Borough. Find further guidance for this grant.

This is a discretionary grant scheme which will remain open until September 1, 2024 (or until the fund is fully committed).

The grant scheme will run as follows, while funding remains available:

  1. Prospective applicants will be able to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI).
  2. EOIs will be reviewed and assessed in the order received by our Business and Investment team.
  3. Subject to a successful EOI, an invitation will be offered to submit a full application within 5 working days of the invitation being issued.
  4. Our Business and Investment team will complete full application reviews, assessments and due-diligence checks.
  5. Suitable applications will be considered by a grant panel subject to funding remaining available.
  6. Successful applicants will be issued with a grant offer email, which will need to be accepted.
  7. On acceptance of a grant offer; applicants will be provided with approval to begin project activity and a grant claim form which must be submitted upon project completion. This will need to be submitted (by October 31, 2024 at the latest) to sufficiently evidence outputs and project delivery, in order to claim a grant.
  8. A grant will be awarded subject to the agreed project being completed and agreed outputs both achieved and sufficiently evidenced by October 31, 2024 at the latest (with terms and conditions also being met).

EOIs will be assessed on a first come first served basis. Invitations to complete a full application and grant offers will be made (in the order that EOIs have been received) based on funding remaining available, eligibility and value for money.

Once you have checked all of the guidance for this grant you can then submit an Expression of Interest application (unless we have to pause or close Expression of Interest applications due to excessive demand).

If you are then invited to complete a full application you will be asked to check the full application guidance first.
