The Social Services and Well-being Wales Act 2014, National Approach to Statutory Advocacy and National Principles for Public Engagement in Wales place a duty on us to ensure that children are able to participate in decisions regarding their care and have access to advocacy services, specifically ‘looked After children’, ‘children in need of care and support’ and ‘care leavers’.
