At Wrexham Council we work with local organisations to provide access to period products, free of charge, to support people from lower income households. We aim to make sure that products are easily accessible and provided in the most practical and dignified way possible.
This work is supported by a Welsh Government grant and done in partnership with the charity Wings Wrexham.

All schools within Wrexham County Borough have period products for all pupils with periods to access at various locations within the schools.

Wrexham foodbank distribution centres
All the distribution centres have Wings Wrexham boxes of free sanitary products:

The majority of disposable products available in schools and across the county borough are plastic free. Reusable sanitary pads and pants are available in schools and within some locations across the county borough.
