The library service is often offered donations of money by users who wish to show their appreciation and support for the service.

You can donate money to help and support libraries to provide events and activities.

We provide a variety of cultural and creative events and activities in all 10 of our libraries across Wrexham County.

We work with authors, third sector organisations and schools and communities, and these events and activities mean we can help and support more people in our communities.

Your donations ensure we can continue to provide our exciting events, activities and share a love of libraries as widely as possible.

You don't have to donate. Wrexham Libraries are a universal and free service to the community. Your decision to donate is an entirely voluntary one.

We ask that you donate only as much as you feel comfortable with. You may want to consider either a one-off payment or more frequently.

More information

What will the money raised from donations be spent on?

100% of each donation goes directly to Wrexham Libraries and is used to maintain and enhance our services. There are no deductions or fees and they will not be used to pay salaries.

I already pay my Council Tax – doesn’t this cover the cost of the service?

Council Tax doesn't cover all of the running costs of the library service. Donations are one of a number of revenue streams to help us achieve this.

Can I Gift Aid my donation?

Unfortunately this is not possible at the moment.
