The Language Passport is webpage on the Vale of Glamorgan Council’s website.

It provides information about jobs that can be done with limited English where you can then develop your language skills as you work. It also gives some key job related words and phrases.

The Language Passport project is currently in a ‘pilot phase’. This means that it has not been developed fully yet and there might be more information added later if it is helpful.

For the pilot phase, there is information about two types of jobs: retail assistant and hotel housekeeper. 

For the pilot phase, the information is given in English, Welsh, Ukrainian, Pashto, Dari and Arabic.
