Direct Debit is the most convenient and cost effective way to pay Council Tax. Paying with Direct Debit is also secure and covered by the Direct Debit guarantee, so in the unlikely event of a mistake being made, you’ll be refunded immediately.
You can set up Direct Debit payments for Council Tax online through MyAccount.
Please note that if you already have an existing Direct Debit then you will need to contact the Council Tax team to get this updated/amended via counciltax@wrexham.gov.uk
I already pay by Direct Debit, do I need to do anything?
If you pay your Council Tax by Direct Debit you don’t need to do anything. Once your Direct Debit is set up, we won’t cancel it unless you or your bank tells us to.
