Llay Park Resource Centre is the hub of the community, located only 4 miles from Wrexham city centre.  

A range of activities are held at the centre, including clubs and training events (check the Facebook link on this page for the latest details).

The whole building has wheelchair access and we have fully fitted hoists in two of our disabled toilets. We offer free Wi-Fi throughout the building and ITC equipment for use for meetings.

Free parking is available and the centre is also accessible by public transport.

Hire out a room

Deposits

A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the hire charge is required at the time of booking (this does not apply to regular block bookings).

We offer:

  • A discount of up to 25% for internal bookings.
  • A room hire charge discount of 25% for charitable events / organisations and for local fundraising.

Hiring session times

Bookings can be made for morning, afternoon or evening sessions (session bookings are for 3 hours in length, with evening sessions finishing by 10pm at the latest).

There are 2 rooms available for hire at this centre. 

The actual capacity for each room depends upon the setup you need for the tables and seating.

Training room - for up to 12 people

Charge per 3 hour session: £44

The centre’s IT suite has 10 public access laptops with Office and presentation software, and a printer.

Hybrid IT equipment is available in the room, including a wall-mounted screen to link with laptops.

Meeting room – for up to 20 people

Charge per 3 hour session: £44

Equipped with a large oval meeting tables seating 16 chairs. Two fixed write-on whiteboards. A projector screen and flipcharts are available on request.

Refreshments can be supplied - book by speaking to Central Park Café staff directly.

Community café (Central Park Café)

We have a fantastic café on site, with a large seating area, which can be used by anyone in the building at any particular time. Food and drink available Monday to Friday 9am-4pm.

For internal (council) bookings the café is also set up on P2P which makes it easy to arrange catering for your meeting or event.
