What is a social enterprise?
Social enterprises are businesses which trade for a social or environmental purpose. They still aim to be commercially successful, but use the majority of any profit to help benefit people and/or the planet.
There are social enterprises in every sector of the UK economy.
Social Enterprise Network
Our Business and Investment Team runs a Social Enterprise Network which provides dedicated support and guidance. The network also exists to help likeminded organisations share knowledge and best practice, network, identify funding, and work collectively in an effort to win contracts.
