Celebrate the turning of the season and welcome in Autumn with our Environment staff for a Harvest festival as we celebrate the wonder of orchards and the important role they play for biodiversity and as a food source.
The Autumn under the Apple Tree event is packed full of hands on activities to get involved in:
- Enjoy our wild food nature trail takes you around the park, with prizes to be won at the end of the trail.
- Treat yourself to some freshly squeezed apple juice with Brymbo Heritage Trust.
- Discover how a beehive works with Smithy Farm with their portable bee hives.
- Take part in some campfire cooking and sample some seasonal fruit crumble.
