There are four council run allotment sites in Wrexham, which are available for Wrexham residents to rent. To apply to rent an allotment you will need to complete the online form. If there are no plots currently available at your preferred site you will be placed on a waiting list.

  • A shop is run by the Wrexham Allotment Association at Prices Lane for all allotment holders and gardeners, the shop offers seeds, fertilisers, canes, compost etc.

Annual cost

The annual cost for an allotment varies from year to year, and depends on the size of plot you rent. The costs for 2019/2020 are as follows:

  • Quarter plot - £41
  • Half plot - £74
  • Full plot - £126

The cost is payable at the beginning of April each year and tenancies run from April to March.

There is a £5 deposit needed for an allotment key, however this will be refunded when the plot is given up. Please keep your receipt for proof of purchase.
