Ty Mawr Country ParkTy Mawr County Park is situated five miles south of Wrexham, right on the banks of the River Dee enjoying fantastic views over the Vale of Llangollen. The park observes traditional organic farming practices, and visitors are able to feed the animals which include ponies, donkeys, goats, ducks, geese and some rare breeds of sheep. The site includes an excellent children's play area and picnic facilities along with an informative Visitor Centre offering further information about the countryside activities on offer. Visitors to the park have easy access to Offa's Dyke path, the Dee Valley, Llangollen Canal, Cefn Viaduct and Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.
