Welsh Government PDG Access Grant

Welsh Government announced on 07/06/2018 a replacement for the Former School Uniform Grant to be known as the ‘PDG Access Grant’. The Grant value is £125.


What's it for?

Who can apply for it?

Parents / Guardians who have children who are entering Reception in Primary School or Year 7 of Secondary School in September 2018 and who attend a school in Wrexham.  The grant is also available to pupils in special schools, special needs resource bases and pupil referral units who are aged 4 or aged 11 in September 2018.

When can I apply for the grant?

You can apply online from 6 August 2018

Is there a closing date?

The closing date is 31 December 2018

Can all parents / children get the grant?

Only parents who receive eligible benefits will be entitled to the grant or Children who are looked after by the Local Authority
