Making you an offer
Offers of accommodation are usually made to the applicant in the highest band that has been waiting the longest for the type of property that becomes empty, provided that it is in the area the person is asking to live in and they have a connection with the Community and/ or Wrexham County Borough. Offers of accommodation will be made in writing. The letter will tell you whether the property is ready for you, whether it is under repair, or if it is still occupied by the outgoing tenant. You will have 5 working days to reply, letting us know if you are accepting or refusing the offer.
If you accept the offer, we may be able to give you an idea of when the property is likely to be ready for you. Please contact the Local Housing Office that has made you the offer for further details of availability.
